suggest that the best course would be to get a competent young man
from England, 'a solicitor.or.solicitor's clerk well acquainted
with bankruptcy business in the High Court in London, to grade him
next to the Beputy Registrars, and not only to make hin Official
Receiver but also to allow him to hold receiverships in the appoint
ment of the Court-bis fees and commissions in this case.going into
the Treasury. Be could also of course do general duty in the
Registry. I think such an officer could be got for a salary:of
about $2400. to $3000. a year.
3. Mr Sercombe Smith conours with me in these.views.
Mr Kyshe, the Registrar, also conours in them with the exception .that he thinks the Official Receivership could be held by one of th
the Deputy Registrars. But I doubt myself whether this arrangenent
would work satisfactorily for an officer could not very well.be present in Court both as Clerk of the Jourt and also,as Official
Receiver.
